BioHans Axel von Fersen (generally known by his middle name of Axel). Born in 1755. Swedish nobleman and soldier. Spent much of his youth in Paris and Versailles. Fought against England in the American Revolutionary War. Nicknamed "Le Beau" in France because of his beauty. Very, very fond of his sister ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)

Played a major role in the flight to Varennes. Returned to Sweden after this and spent most of the rest of his life sulking at the Swedish court, until his death in 1810 (unpleasant, involved a lynch-mob).
